A trip to Whittamore's Farm
I've been going to Whittamore's Farm for a few years now, ever since I was on Maternity Leave with Calder. It's been fun to see how he's evolved in his tastes, and what he enjoys from year to year. I took him there last Summer when I was pregnant with Easton, and haven't been back since. I figured it was high time! We went on a beautiful day, not too much heat or sun and it was wonderful. Easton enjoyed taking in all the new sights and sounds, and Calder had a blast going from activity to activity. Here are a few pictures of our day!

Summer so far...
I am so busy and/or tired lately that I honestly don't even think of posting to the blog - I apologize! Calder and I are off for the summer - well, we're off until September 2010! So far we haven't done too much - hung around the town, kept ourselves busy. Time flies even when you're NOT that busy! Here are some pictures that I have taken this summer so far....
Calder's First Time Bowling and Go-Karting
For Father's Day this year we went to Neb's fun World in Oshawa. It has bowling, Go-Karting, Bouncy castles, a Games room, and a few other rides. Calder had a blast bowling for the first time - my Grandfather would have loved it! :) He also had soooo much fun Go-Karting with his Daddy, he has gone another time since and keeps asking to go back!
Grandma's Birthday
We celebrated Grandma's Birthday with some pizza and cake - Calder always has fun over at Grandma's and now is able to help blow out candles!!
At the park with Auntie Colleen
Calder had a fun time with Auntie Colleen at the park during a recent visit to see us! He showed her his new 'bike' (a plasma car) and made her push him on the swing for ages!
Calder's Big Boy Bed
We finally got him a Big Boy Bed in preparation for his baby brother's arrival in September (he'll need the crib!) and also, Calder was so ready to leave the crib. Even though he slept well in it still, he wanted to jump into it, and we were afraid it was going to break. I was also having trouble picking him up all the time for his nap to put him in the crib.
We got his bed delivered on a Saturday night, and Sunday Calder helped his Dad put it together. He didn't have a nap that day, but that night at bedtime, he ran straight for his new bed and slept the whole night in it. He has ever since! He loves his new bed and his bedroom, although sometimes it IS a little too easy for him to get out of bed and play with something at bedtime. :)
And here's a picture of me and my Grand 31-week belly! :)

Hopefully it won't take me months to post more pictures, but we'll see! :) Have a wonderful rest of the summer, everyone!!

More pictures
Well I took a couple dozen pictures today - still trying to get used to the new camera and all it's settings - and while some were not-so-great shots - some were okay - so I thought I would share them with you! Enjoy! Calder's a great subject - although I must say - he doesn't like the camera as much as he used to. Finn, he just sits there, unimpressed by me - and Gary doesn't even look at the camera! :) At least I'm never in the shots. :)

This is from the other night when Calder was watching a bit of TV before he went to bed. He loves TV. Now he has a Diego 'backpack' chair that he loves to sit on.

Calder does headstands now - well, his version of them. I am not sure why, but he (and I) think it's funny. Today he was trying to grab his book through his legs, upside down. Funny times!!

Love these next two shots - the first one I love because...well, I just love it. The last one is Calder laughing out loud while having fun with Daddy this afternoon.
