Graduation

Look into my eyes!!!
I graduated today from the course I was taking over the last few weeks and I was happy to have Calder and my wife there to meet all the wonderful people that were my fellow travellers for those 100 hours. While Calder might be too young to fully understand what was going on, I was happy to see that he had a chance to meet the people who learned alongside his dad, grew as people in the time together, and who will make the world a better place for us all.

Calder thanks you for what you all have done and will be doing.

I'd like to pass along extra special thanks to the great Doctor Georgina and her great team of Mark, Don and Tariq.

And a super thank you to Dean, Kathleen, Larry, Kevin and Soph! You kept me sane (well, as close as could be expected for me) and provided moments I won't forget. If I ever do, I'll come see you for a session to bring those memories back. ;-)

I would also like to thank you all, each of you. I feel privileged, blessed, honoured and humbled all at once because of what we shared, accomplished and trusted amongst ourselves. Some things happen for a reason, and we came together for a reason. We did a lot, and know we have the power and skills to do so much more.

While I have been learning, so has Calder. Since he can't read, he's been busy intaking documentaries. As you can tell, he really doesn't agree with the views expressed by the program. He even has his fun hat on, and yet that doesn't sway him. Tough critic!

Here is Calder trying to practice his Christmas greeting so that he is prepared and rehearsed when people come over to the house this coming week.

With all the time I had at work and the course, and the sudden spring like temperatures around here, I am afraid I am running out of time to see Calder in cute winter gear like this. He's growing out of his wardrobe so quickly... not bad for a 3 and 1/2 month old!

This is why I will be helping people. Who will you change the world for?

Goodnight Calder, Daddy loves you!
