A little bit brave - or a little bit foolish?

Just got back from taking Calder AND Easton to see Shrek 4: Forever After. Yep, I took them to a Stars and Strollers screening of it - this is when they have two popular movies each week that are playing that you can take your baby to - they have increased lighting, (sometimes) a change table, stroller parking and reduced volume (although I beg to differ on this one). I took Calder to many movies when he was a baby and I was able to take Easton to a few when he was a bit younger, too.

So when I saw that Shrek was playing I thought it would be a great opportunity to bring them both - I tried to get my sister to come but my request was too last minute - so off I went on my own!

Needless to say, with the short-attention span of an almost 4-year old and a baby who has recently learned to crawl, it was a busy movie-watching time. Calder wouldn't sit down for a significant amount of time, was blowing raspberries, and banging (although not really on purpose) the seats in front of him. Easton gave me a lovely bite on the neck, and constantly wanted to stand up, sit down, lie down, eat and then do it all over again. Finally he passed out. When, you ask? With 5 minutes till the end of the movie, of course!

I think I was both a little bit brave AND a little bit foolish. Lesson learned, and I don't know if I'll do that again anytime soon.
