Almost two months old!

More birthday greetings. This one to Calder's uncle Walter and his cousin Olivia. He is seeing them both this weekend at a huge party that will celebrate multiple birthdays. He's already practicing his singing. Not quite there, but improving. What do you expect for a newborn? You people are so demanding.

It's not like he isn't trying to do new things, it's just that he can't do much right now. So go easy on the guy will ya?!?!?

One of the new developments with Calder over the last few days has been increasing acceptance of his special chair. It gives mom and dad a chance to place him for a minute or two while they heat up his formula or tidy up a bit.

Calder is fun to watch in this chair of his. He can stare for an eternity at the stuffed animals hanging from the arch, or sometimes, he falls asleep... as in this picture... with his arms still reaching for the stuffed animals.

In a week it will be Calder's first Halloween. We're debating whether or not it will be worth driving around for a few hours visiting family all across the GTA to show off a two month old who will likely be tired, hungry and in need of a change. While this isn't a costume, it can certainly double as one.

  1. Wow Baby Calder- you are getting so big. I love your outfit (you could definitely wear it for Halloween!). My mommy and daddy have bought me a great costume too. I am so excited to wear it and see what all this hype is about. I hope that you are feeling o.k. Please say hi to your mommy and daddy from all of us.

    Love,
    Baby Parker

P.S) Hope you get lots of goodies!
